Coming home for a weekend here and there is so nice. (o:
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I hope you all enjoyed spending time with your family and loved ones.

It's that time of year again where we loosen our belts and proceed to stuff our faces until we're about to pop - which is okay because the next day we will just go shopping at 3 am for new jeans (maybe a size bigger?) at a highly discounted price.
But more than that...
It's that time of the year again where we are bustling around to the sounds and smells of fall - working together in the kitchen all day with family - spending hours in simple and pleasurable conversation. All the normal daily stress is put aside (perhaps replaced with new seasonal stresses) and work is temporarily forgotten. It's the time of year when, even if both of your cars stop working correctly the morning you plan to travel your distances, you can still end the day on a happy note.

It's a time of year to really sit back and just truly praise God for everything in your life. For family and friends. For pumpkin pie and sweet potato casserole. For warm fireplaces. For good times and trying times he has brought you through. For life.
